Our Philosophy
At Pioneer Daycare Centre, we believe that each child is unique, with a distinct learning pattern and timing for growth and development. We provide opportunities for active participation through play and positive interaction with the world around them.
Our Programs
The Pioneer Education Society's program fosters children's social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development through play-based learning. The environment is structured into "learning centres," allowing children to explore their interests through discovery and experience. A theme-based approach introduces new topics each month, integrating literacy, music, science, field trips, and group activities. The program also provides a supportive care system for families, working in partnership with parents, caregivers, and the community to help each child reach their full potential.
History and Legacy
Pioneer Daycare centre is operated by the Pioneer Education Society, a non-profit organization established in 1996. We are proud to be the first bilingual daycare centre established in Richmond.
